Jordan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from North Greenville University in 2010 and her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College in 2012. She has extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families facing a wide range of life challenges in various settings, including outpatient clinics, group homes, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, mental health agencies, and private practice. Jordan specializes in helping clients overcome obstacles related to anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also enjoys working with individuals facing life transitions, experiencing grief, and struggling with self-esteem.
Jordan is passionate about helping people and finds joy in seeing them implement positive changes in their lives. Sydney holds an M.S. in Clinical Counseling with an Emphasis in Addictions from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Through this training, she developed a deep passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of addiction, as well as a strong appreciation for the diverse factors that shape each person’s life experience.
Sydney specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults who are facing significant life transitions or struggling to thrive. Areas of focus include parental separation or divorce, developmental challenges, body image concerns, self-esteem, anger management, and more. Sydney also have extensive experience supporting individuals dealing with substance use, alcohol misuse, gambling addiction, and other behavioral addictions.
Her therapeutic approach begins with meeting clients where they are. In the first session, she takes the time to understand each person’s goals, expectations, and unique personality. With a strong belief in living authentically, her aim is to support clients in discovering and pursuing their passions and personal growth.
Taking an eclectic and personalized approach, Sydney draws from a wide range of evidence-based practices to meet each client’s individual needs. Anna Lee is trauma-informed and provides gender-affirming and LGBTQ-affirming care. For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process, she also offers faith-informed counseling while always honoring individual beliefs and values.
